First time and we’re very impressed with the experience. Romantic atmosphere if you go later in the night. Earlier and it’s a great place to visit with friends. The food tells a story of the French cuisine being introduced to America. There is a variety of food and was all so good. They also have nightly specials and happy hour.

Our server and drinks were phenomenal, highly recommend whiskey business! Food wise I was a little disappointed at times, things seemed hit or miss even within a dish. The lobster bisque itself had great flavor but there were only 2 chunks of lobster and the lobster salad was more of a lobster spread and the pate a choux seemed overdone and a disappointing texture. The duck confit leg was delicious but the thigh was underseasoned. The flavor on the creme brulee was good but it seemed like it must have curdled when making it because the texture wasnt nearly as smooth as I would have expected. Overall would say my experience was good but it didnt leave me with the overwhelming sense that I cant wait to come back which is what I was hoping for. But service was certainly top notch so kudos to your servers/bartenders!

Inspired by a daughter who is in France right now, those of us in Texas decided to try Le Petit Cochon. It was amazing. I wouldn't normally have soup in the summer, but the french onion soup was the best I've ever had. The chicken cordon blue was excellent too. I took about half home to save room for the delicious dessert. Loved every bite!

Wonderful restaurant in College Station in an unassuming location along the freeway. The service is excellent as is the food. Debra was an amazing server. She was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about the dishes. The Saturday/Sunday brunch is excellent and I was not disappointed at all. The croissant is probably one of the best, and flakiest, I've ever had in the US. The brunch potatoes are flavorful and crispy -- a nice change from the soft or soggy breakfast potatoes that come at most restaurants. Everything is fresh prepared and could stand up against any of the French restaurants in Houston or any other big city. They have limited seating, so I highly encourage making reservations.

This is a really nice place for great quality food and even better service! Our waiter, Zac accommodated our large group during the last hour on a Sunday and was extremely friendly, courteous and personable the entire time. Food was excellent French cuisine with Wine pairings and desserts that were equally amazing. If you’re in the Bryan/College Station area and wondering if you should stop by, make sure to do so!

My husband and I went on a date night here and absolutely loved it! We had the steak tartare as an appetizer and it was divine. We assumed the portions would be small, but we were mistaken! So much food. We also ordered the French onion soup to share and it was the best we’ve both ever had. Definitely going to get that again! For our entrees we had the pork grillé and the Bouillabaisse. Both 10/10. The collared greens and grits with the pork chop were the perfect combo. We left feeling stuffed! Our waitress Debra was amazing also, and so helpful. We will for sure be back!

We wanted to do something special for our 10 year anniversary. We thought, "How 'bout that new French restaurant in College Station? And wow, did we hit a winner! This food was like what you'd expect if you really went to France! Everything was fantastic! I stop short of mentioning the names of the dishes because I can't speak French! But for real, you will love this place!!!

Update Oct 13: The lobster bisque was outstanding. The cocktails were delicious. Our server London was fantastic. Le Petit Cochon is a gem! Update: consistently excellent experience on our 3rd visit. The outstanding staff at the front, bar and tables were all very friendly & professional. For an appetizer, the salmon rilletes were fantastic. For the entree, the salmon with Ratatouille was delightful. The perfectly cooked salmon was slightly crispy on the outside but flakey and buttery on the inside. The savory lobster bisque was accompanied by toast points with a superb lobster salad. For desert, the profiterols with vanilla ice cream and warm chocolate sauce were fantastic. We had the honor of meeting the chef and hearing his inspiration for the perfect harmony of flavors that characterize his dishes. We had dinner at the bar where the full menu is available. The raclette with prosciutto & flame-roasted emmental cheese was a delicious starter. The wine list is good with several excellent selections by the glass. The bouillabaisse had a fantastic tomato broth with generous portions of fresh clams, mussels, shrimp and white fish and grilled baguette. The trout was also delicious and cooked to perfection. The flourless chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and Port we're a delicious dessert combination. The service was fantastic. The excellent staff was very prompt, friendly and professional.
